Kevin Honeycut needs no introduction – he is inspiring, energetic, globally connected, forward thinking and genuine. I have heard him speak several times and always learn something new. Kevin shares lessons for life and for empowering learners. Follow him @kevinhoneycutt or read more here.
Dr. Wesley Fryer has been an inspiration and founding member of my PLN since the advent of Twitter and Voicethread. He and his wife share openly their ideas and current practices. While visiting Philadelphia for ISTE 15 we tweeted locations to meet up in the Blogger Cafe for an impromptu Sketchnoting/Visual Notetaking idea session – learning from each other in real time. Follow him @wfryer and enjoy his resources here.
Another Philadelphia connection, I met Diana Laufenberg when she was teaching with Chris Lehman @chrislehmann and Zac Chase @MrChase at the Science Leadership Academy. She was the grounds person, helping weary travelers find their way, she helped me. That was in 2008 and her scholarship, pedagogy, and learning path have been an inspiration ever since (click here to see her TED speaker page and hear her TEDtalk). I find her at every conference where she presents on multiple topics on her own and with her former colleagues. Now the Executive Director of Inquiry Schools you can follow her @dlaufenberg or read more here.
